  1. About Us & These Terms Company Details
    • Parcel Keep is a trading name of The Depot Box Ltd. Registered Office / Trading Address: 80 Bond Street, Yeovil, Somerset, BA22 8SP, United Kingdom.
    • Contract Eligibility: These terms apply strictly to consumer sales (purchases made for personal use, not for resale or business operations).
  2. Orders & Pricing
    • All prices are displayed in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.
    • Delivery costs are calculated and shown at checkout prior to final payment.
    • When you place an order, you will receive an automated email acknowledging receipt. Acceptance of your order and formation of the sales contract takes place when we dispatch your item(s).
  3. Payment Terms
    • Payment Before Dispatch: Full payment must be cleared prior to dispatch.
    • We accept all major credit/debit cards and secure online payment methods listed at checkout.
    • Goods remain our property until full payment has been received and verified.
  4. 10-Year Guarantee & Warranty Terms
    Our products are manufactured to high quality standards. We offer the following guarantees in addition to your statutory rights under UK consumer law:
    • 10-Year Structural Guarantee (Parcel Box Main Body):
      • The main body, outer steel casing, and structural housing of the Parcel Keep box are covered by a 10-year guarantee against structural failure, manufacturing defects, and severe corrosion under normal domestic use.
    • Lock Mechanism Exclusion:
      • The lock mechanism (including combination dials, internal latches, and keys/keypads) is explicitly EXCLUDED from the 10-year structural guarantee.
      • Lock mechanisms are subject to daily mechanical wear-and-tear and are covered by a standard 12-month warranty from the date of purchase.
    • Guarantee Conditions:
      • Applies only to the original consumer purchaser.
      • The product must be installed and anchored in accordance with our installation instructions.
      • Excludes damage caused by deliberate misuse, forced entry/vandalism, accidental damage, unauthorized modifications, or improper mounting.
  5. Your Right to Cancel & Returns (Consumer Rights)
    Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the legal right to change your mind and cancel your order:
    • Cancellation Window: You have 14 calendar days from the day after you (or a designated third party) physically receive the parcel box to cancel your purchase.
    • How to Cancel: Contact us at The Depot Box Ltd via our Contact Us page or by writing to our address above, stating your name, order number, and intent to cancel.
    • Returning Goods:
      • You must return the item to us within 14 days of telling us you wish to cancel.
      • The item must be returned unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging with all included fixing hardware and documentation.
      • Return Shipping Costs: Unless the item is faulty or delivered in error, you are responsible for paying the return shipping costs.
      • Refunds: We will issue a full refund (including standard delivery costs) within 14 days of receiving the returned item, provided it meets the return conditions.
  6. Faulty or Damaged Goods
    Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be as described, fit for purpose, and of satisfactory quality.
    • If your item arrives damaged in transit or develops a manufacturing fault within 30 days of delivery, you are entitled to an immediate full refund or replacement.
    • If a manufacturing fault occurs after 30 days (and within the applicable 12-month lock warranty or 10-year structural guarantee window), we will offer a repair, replacement parts, or a full replacement box at our discretion.
  7. Delivery & Risk Delivery
    • Time frames provided on the website are estimates. We will make every effort to deliver within the time frame stated.
    • Risk of damage or loss of the goods passes to you once the item has been delivered to your specified address.
  8. Use & Limitations of Liability
    • Parcel Keep lock boxes are designed as secure deposit points to deter opportunistic parcel theft. They are not indestructible safes.
    • To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, The Depot Box Ltd is not liable for stolen or damaged packages left in or around the box by third-party delivery couriers.
    • You remain responsible for safeguarding and setting your combination lock PIN codes.
  9. Governing Law
    These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts (or Scottish/Northern Irish courts if you reside in those regions).
